Success Begins In The Mind
Success is characterized in various forms; it also has many meanings depending on what we is seeking for in our lives, relationships and careers. To athletes, success can mean obtaining that gold medal, to parents success can mean raising children with good moral values, to doctors, success can mean saving a life and to some it can mean a job promotion or acquiring wealth. It actually depends on how we view our lives. Understanding and success perceptions are as abundant as there are stars in the sky.
Each of us has to determine the true meaning of success in our own life. Those who walk through life attempting to accomplish “success” through someone else’s standards or through the standards of society will never feel truly successful.
The dictionary defines success as that certain measure or degree of achievement, or accomplishment or as a desirable and favorable outcome.
We must decide what we truly want, what can offer a desirable or favorable outcome in each aspect of our lives. To accomplish success we have to set realistic goals – goals that can be achieved. We should measure success by how close we come to accomplishing the goals that we have set for ourselves based on our skills and abilities.
Our subconscious mind is an incredibly powerful tool that we must improve and utilize wisely and to its fullest capacity to accomplish success.
To fully understand how powerful and encouraging our subconscious mind can be, we should understand and recognize that there really is no coincidence, that nothing in life occurs just by chance, othing is predestined, that we have the power to control our lives to control our successes and our failures.
Events or incidents in life can be maneuvered or controlled to resolve our problems. We have the power to change certain aspects of our lives that we are not contented with.
While it is evident that we cannot at all times get what we want, it is also true that we can use our natural power over the events of our lives and cause things to move in our desired direction more frequently.
Expectation, belief and desire are three powerful forces that can help us do this. Before anything that we want to occur can happen, we must desire for it to happen, believe deeply that it will happen and expect that it will happen.
The subconscious mind generates all things in our lives that reflect the information and messages we send to it. We are continually and regularly sending the mind information and messages, and most of the information sent is useless or negative information .
It can be difficult to get the success that we desire if we are not specific and clear about what it is. Check your daily actions and thoughts against these specific goals. We should understand where we are and what we are doing wrong as well as what we are doing right. Then we’ll be ready to change for the better if and when it is needed.
Remember that whatever we display in our beliefs, thoughts and actions is sent to the subconscious mind. So we need to be very careful in our thoughts, beliefs and actions, as they are great influences in our success. If we worry constantly about not having enough money, we never will acquire enough; thinking that we do not have the capability to accomplish our goals, we never achieve any; thinking that there not enough opportunities, there never will be.
Why? Simply because the subconscious mind is always working on the information that we have sent and negative information results in nothing but negative reality.
When we do accomplish our goal, we should stop a while and relish the satisfaction and pleasure of achieving a goal. Great or small, it is success; a beginning of that life that we want for ourselves!
